SMOCK CHRISTMAS BALL is knitted in a beautiful smock pattern and decorated with a satin bow. The Christmas ball is worked from the bottom and up and knitted using magic loop or on 2 circular needles. Depending on the size of the needle and the yarn, the ball can be knitted in different sizes.
The small Christmas ball is knitted in
LØVFALD, and the medium Christmas ball is knitted in
LAMAULD.

Size: Small (Medium).
Measurements of the ball: 7 & 14 cm in diameter.
Yarn: LØVFALD for the small ball and
LAMAULD for the medium ball.
Yarn alternative: ØKOLOGISK SOMMERULD or
TYND LAMAULD for the small ball.
LAMATWEED or
HØST for the big ball. All qualities are from CaMaRose.dk.
YOU WILL NEED:
Yarn requirement: 1 skein for one ball. There is enough yarn for 4 small balls in one skein Løvfald.
Suggested needle size: 3 mm circular needle (80 cm) for the small ball and 4.5 (80 cm) for the medium ball, if you use Magic loop. Otherwise, 2 circular needles (40 cm).
It is recommended to use a row counter, to keep track of the rnds!
You will also need polystyrene balls:
Polystyrene ball, Ø= 7 cm in diameter for small ball.
Polystyrene ball, Ø=14 cm in diameter for medium ball.
Satin ribbon in different colours and sizes:
Satin ribbon 3 mm for suspension.
Satin ribbon 25 mm for the bow for the small ball.
Satin ribbon 40 mm for the bow for the medium ball.
