SHAWL WITH LEAF FALL is a beautiful shawl knitted in a lace pattern forming leaves. The shawl can be worked in
TYND LAMAULD (the gray shawl) or in
YAKU (the green shawl).
The shawl is worked bottom up and finished with a crochet edging. The outer row of holes gives opportunity to pull a silk ribbon through.
The pattern includes both a chart and a description of the chart, row by row.

Yarn: TYND LAMAULD (50% llama and 50% wool) or
YAKU (100% merino wool, superwash), both from CaMaRose.dk.
Yarn requirement: 4 skeins of Tynd Lamauld or 5 skeins of Yaku.
Suggested needle size: 3 or 4 mm circular needle (100 cm) and 2 or 3 mm crochet hook.
Accessory: 250 cm black silk ribbon 5 mm.
Gauge: Approx. 14-19 sts in pattern on a 3 or 4 mm needle = 10 x 10 cm.
Info about the gauge:
The gray shawl is worked in Tynd Lamauld on a 4 mm needle, which gives the shawl a lightness. There is worked 11 pattern repeats and the gauge is 14 sts per 10 cm. The finished shawl measures 180 cm in length.
The green shawl is worked in Yaku on a 3 mm needle and is more firm, but the pattern stands out clearly. If you want a more light shawl, a 4 mm needle is recommended. There is worked 13 pattern repeats and the gauge is 19 sts per 10 cm. The finished shawl measures 165 cm.
