HARLEKIN CUSHIONS are worked from the bottom and up on a circular needle in a two-coloured pattern, also called Jaquard knitting. At first, the edge with the buttons is worked and then the cushion cover itself is worked. The cover is finished by knitting it together and binding off in same workflow from the wrong side.

Size: 40 x 40 (45 x 45) cm.
Measurements of the finished cushion cover: Approx. 41 (46) cm measured from the cast on edge to the seam.
Yarn: ØKOLOGISK HVERDAGSULD from CaMaRose.dk.
Yarn requirement: 2 (3) skeins in colour 1 and 2 (3) skeins in colour 2.
Recommended needles: 3 mm circular needle (60 cm or 80 cm) and 4 mm circular needle (60 cm for the small cushion, 80 cm for the biggest cushion).
You will also need: A cushion without cover in the size you want, and 6 (7) wooden buttons, Ø = 18 mm.
Gauge: 21 sts x 26 rnds in stockinette stitch on a 4 mm needle.
